The first day of The Tiger Year is really a lucky day for NOVAS

The first day of The Tiger Year is really a lucky day for NOVAS: The shipment of “made by NOVAS” equipment was departed to Kuwana, Japan. This is a soil remediation project for a former industrial waste dumping site of petroleum hydrocarbons. The thermal conductive heating (TCH) technology is used in combination with vapor extraction and pumping to remove the contamination.

NOVAS, as the Electrical and Automation Subcontractor, has designed and manufactured the power distribution and control panels for the thermal treatment plant and subsurface temperature and pressure monitoring systems. PLC and treatment data management systems for the project. NOVAS also provides online technical support to Terratherm Asia- main contractor during operation of the project. The project officially came into operation in the beginning of April 2022. The systems had been well calibrated under the remote technical instruction from NOVAS and operate smoothly now.

This is the second soil remediation project NOVAS involved in. The first one was the treatment of soil contaminated with dioxin in Danang International Airport in 2015 where NOVAS was the Electrical & Automation and Maintenance subcontractor for the main contractor of Kruger. The project was financed by USAID.
