Location: 5 intersections of Le Duan street, Danang city

Novas' scope of work: design, supply and install smart traffic light systems for 5 intersections including:

• Thermal cameras
• Control cabinets
• Connection with existing traffic light system
• Programming remote monitoring software
• Commissioning & operation training

Working principles & Control philosophy:

• The thermal cameras are functioned to define the density of transportation by counting the number of vehicles at the intersections from different directions. Based on the density, the system will adjust the traffic light phases properly. The most critical feature in this smart system is to allow flexible traffic light phases instead of fixed ones. This helps to reduce traffic jams during rush hours
